Coaching

Individually strong together

The coaching process follows the mantra – no one size fits all. Thus coaching is tailored to the client in order to achieve their specific personal or professional goals. The coach accompanies the coachee on this journey. Aside from being a deeply individualistic process, coaching also involves building up a successful leadership style within an organization. The resulting collaboration is strictly confidential.

The following issues are examples which can be effectively addressed through coaching.

You ask yourself
how you might ...

… shape the new leadership role.
… become more focused.
… handle (micro-) political issues.
… assert yourself effectively and gain influence.
…identify and change disruptive patterns.
… maintain your work-life balance.
… deal with conflicts more constructively.
… lead without hierarchical authority.

No fear of challenging questions

The coachee will be guided through a structured process with modern and interdisciplinary methods. Neuroscientific studies show that development is most effective when people are engaged and actively and emotionally challenged. For this reason, no ready-made concepts are applied in coaching. It is the task of the coach to allow the client to reach the appropriate conclusion for themselves, through challenging questions, feedback, mirroring and other techniques. In addition the coach offers, where appropriate, practical input as well as mental stimulus. In basic terms, it is not a question of changing personality, but of creating access to hidden resources and expanding options, which in turn brings about greater effectiveness.

How the coaching process runs

Clients involved in the coaching process may be either individuals or teams. After the scope of the initial assignment has been established and there is mutual agreement in place, the number and frequency of meetings can vary. This allows time to apply solutions arising from sessions, and for subsequent reflection. Where a working relationship is already in place, impromptu private sessions can be arranged in urgent cases.
As a general rule, 4-6 sessions of 2 hours are required to deal with a specific issue.

Team coaching generally takes place in the framework of workshops. Depending on the subject, methods such as MBTI®, the Team Management System or experiential methods can be applied. We are able to work through topics that may include handling differences and conflicts, optimizing interfaces, communication within and outside a team and organizational processes.
